Wakeland High School Orchestra gives students the best opportunities music has to offer. With her unique combination of many years experience as a professional concert violinist, string instructor, conductor and educator, our orchestral director Mrs. Duston, helps students truly give their passion a voice through music while sharing the best learning environment, experience and education possible.
As a member of the orchestra, not only will you learn to play with more confidence, but you will perform music that is not only challenging and fun, but music that sets the standards for learning all types of music.
Members from the orchestra participate in many parts of the organization and execution of day-to-day functions of the tight knit family that is, the Wakeland High School Orchestra. Everyone in the Wakeland High School Orchestra is important, from the President of the orchestra, to the Librarians and even the crew.
